Who We Are

About the Circle

The Women's Giving Circle is a philanthropic initiative of the Kitsap Community Foundation that brings together women from across the peninsula who share a commitment to strengthening our community. By pooling annual contributions into a collective fund, members amplify their individual impact far beyond what any one person could achieve alone.

Each year, members gather to review grant applications from local nonprofits, hear directly from organizations doing critical work, and vote together on which projects to fund. Every member has an equal voice regardless of the size of her contribution, ensuring that the Circle's decisions reflect the collective wisdom of the group.

Beyond grantmaking, the Circle fosters deep connections among its members through educational events, social gatherings, and volunteer opportunities. It is a place where women learn about the needs of their community, develop as philanthropists, and build lasting friendships rooted in a shared purpose.
